Sridevi in black lace, blue lenses, very subtle, very sensual.
This is so tame by today's standards but was seen as a controversial shoot by the then 34 year old when it was originally published (in several magazines including Filmfare, Stardust and MOVIE).
Sridevi was always game to work with new stylists, new photographers, new makeup artists - always ready to up her game with new blood and encouraging rising talent.
So many major stalwarts in the industry today mention how Sridevi gave them confidence and a career boost when they first started - be it Neeta Lulla or Manish Malhotra, be it a makeup artist or photographer like Palash Bose, Atul Kasbekar.
While Sridevi's legacy is firmly entrenched, her kindness and generosity will reverberate for generations too.
