Sridevi poses for Manish Malhotra

After Sridevi put her career on pause back in 1997 with Judaai (lets just forget Meri Biwi Ka Jawab Nahin shall we?!), she also disappeared from the pages of film magazines. No more shoots, no more covers, no fab photo-sessions, no ads, no nothing.

When Manish Malhotra opened his first shop, he dolled up all the leading ladies of the time for his catalogue - including Karishma and Kareena Kapoor, Urmila and others.

An awesome gesture by Sridevi, she did a session after years just for Manish and posed in these gorgeous outfits; a gauzy cream sari and a sparkling pink salwar. Gorgeous, gorgeous!

Rediff: Who is the most beautiful woman in the world according to you? And who best suits your dresses?
Manish Malhotra: Leave aside the question of the most beautiful woman in the world. But I can tell you the best one whom I have worked with - Sridevi. I did Gumraah, Laadla, a little bit of Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Army and Judaai. I love her professionally, I love her carriage.
