Sridevi on the sets of Sultanat (1986). Because of her regal demeanor and touch-me-not aura, Sridevi has essayed a lot of imperial roles where she's been a princess, queen, Goddess, other-worldly woman of untouchable, impenetrable power. As RGV had said years ago in an interview, you can't get to Sri; there were walls around her, a fortress of people who blocked the way. Which quite frankly seems all too necessary as in this day and age of instant celebrity, Sri remains the last of the true superstars.
