Sujata Kumar, who is known for her roles in like Hotel Kingston, Bombay Talking on small screen plays Sridevi's elder sister in English Vinglish.

Sujata claims that Sridevi is great human being, she said, "Sridevi is a sweetheart. I am so proud I played her elder sister. We are not blood sisters, but there was a great rapport between us."

"I found her very down to earth and we bonded well on the sets of English Vinglish," she added. Sujata believes that simplicity worked for the film. "English Vinglish works because of its sheer simplicity. There is no drama in the film," concluded Sujata.
