Celebrating a century of Indian cinema, one of its most glistering denizens, screen diva Sridevi attended the event in a resplendent, golden outfit by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. At the momentous occasion, Sridevi received a memento from President Pranab Mukherjee.

Though she emigrated to Bollywood, the Southern siren's fans remain faithful as they greeted her with unfettered cheers and applause.   A much-celebrated cine-star, the polyglot and prolific actress has starred in a series of classic South Indian cinema that makes her a firm favorite in any region of India.
