Sridevi in Chennai at the 100 Years of Indian Cinema Celebrations: Golden Icon with Kamal Haasan Jayalalitha, Ajith

Celebrating a century of Indian cinema, one of its most glittering denizens, screen diva Sridevi attended the event in a resplendent, golden outfit by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. At the momentous occasion, Sridevi received a memento from President Pranab Mukherjee and blessings from her past co-star Jayalalitha.

Though she emigrated to Bollywood, the Southern siren's fans remain faithful as they greeted her with unfettered cheers and applause.   

A much-celebrated cine-star, the polyglot and prolific actress has starred in a series of classic South Indian cinema that makes her a firm favorite in any region of India. She met up with her most frequent co-star Kamal Haasan and were seen in deep conversation at the event along with Boney Kapoor. When she met Tamil cinema's current rage Ajith, he bowed down to greet her. Was too cute!
