Over the past 15 years, we've heard so many rumours about Sridevi's return to film that until we actually see an image of her on set, we don't believe it. So much wishful thinking online and pure speculation that often turns to nothing (remember the Meryl Streep film with Sridevi - the news that hit blogs and papers?! What nonsense!).
Thankfully, fans posted images of Sridevi on the set of English Vinglish, and others have now posted this as Sridevi is captured on the set of Puli - her first Tamil film in over 25 years!
As Mani Ratnam famously said, Sridevi's best films have all been in Tamil - Bollywood has yet to tap into the depth of her histrionics.
Sridevi's regal look has been closely guarded so these rare gems are all we get.
We simply cannot wait for Sri's next!!
