The launch of Chandra Mukhi in 1991 was a huge affair. Salman Khan was coasting on newfound fame and success. Sridevi was the biggest star around at the time with rave, rave reviews of Lamhe (the subsequent box office flops did little to dim her shine as she garnered almost universal acclaim for her fine performance).
Sadly this film was a huge turkey at the box-office. But gosh, the two superstars looked great together. Yet another title role for Sridevi.
