Pr-publicity shots for Chand Ka Tukda that Sridevi did with Salman Khan. Legend has it, after the super (and unexpected!) success of Sanam Bewafaa (1991), writer/producer/director Saawan Kumar Tak immediately re-signed Salman Khan for his next film. He did a huge casting call for his leading lady but none fit the bill. Salman Khan requested the director to cast Sridevi. Though she was only 2 years older than him, she was over 100 films older than Khan! They did a test shoot and released the images to the media - the response was phenomenal and the unexpected pairing of superstar Sridevi and rising star Salman Khan occured. Tragcially, both the subsequent films the stars did were dreadful... but the duo sure did look good!
