The most comprehensive fan blog dedicated to India's most beautiful and greatest actress of all-time (in our humble opine!), Sridevi. Sridevi aka Sreedevi, ruled Indian cinema (with awesome performances in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi films) in a career spanning 50 incredible years featuring 266 films. Born in Sivakasi on August 13 1963, her untimely and tragic death on February 24, 2018 left a nation in mourning. In our hearts, she'll forever be, the eternal Queen of Bollywood.

English Vinglish (2012)
We Sridevi fans, have literally never been this happy ever!!
Official website is up (see English Vinglish.com) the facebook site is up (see here) today, the first previews are out later tonight. Oh.. em... geee!!
We've all have had our faux-pas with the English language. Some openly use their stories as conversation makers at parties, others hide their tales of embarrassment in their childhood closets. The makers of hit films Cheeni Kum and Paa are now ready to ferret these stories out with their soon to released Sridevi starrer English Vinglish.
English Vinglish is the story of a woman who does not know English. She is made to feel insecure by her family and society at large as in India money, fame and the knowledge of English play a huge role in how society judges an individual. The film is a light-hearted yet touching and transformational journey of character Shashi living in New York played by India's biggest female star Sridevi.
This film will mark the return of Sridevi popularly known as Roop Ki Rani after 15 years back into Bollywood. And obviously the star had to be back with a bang which can be seen in the extremely innovative theatrical trailers of English Vinglish where she is seen reading and innocently trying to understand the censor board certificate in her broken English.
The film which is produced by Eros International & R Balki marks the debut of Gauri Shinde as a writer and a director. If the trailers are so fun-filled; tickling our funny bone, then the film should have us in splits.
Releasing on September 21. Trailers in theatres today.
