* Kamal Haasan states that though they were a romantic pair on screen, they were like brother and sister off screen.

* When she died, he says he was moved to tears, he felt like someone from his own family died.

* "I don't know when Sridevi grew up, I knew her as a child. And I was almost dismissive [of her], she just became a superstar."
