Which was worse? Chand Ka Tukda or Chandramukhi?! The Sridevi - Salman Khan fiasco x 2

Which was worse? Chand Ka Tukda or Chandramukhi?! The Sridevi - Salman Khan fiasco x 2!

Comment below. And say why!

Our two cents; Chandramukhi works a bit... if you look at it as a children's fantasy film. On the Sridevi Facebook fan-page, we've noticed that several young ones who grew up in the early '90s loved the fantastical elements of Chandramukhi. Doesn't make the film any better, but it does have its fair share of fans.

Chand Ka Tukda, except for the songs perhaps, has absolutely nothing going for it. Legend has it,
when Sridevi was asked about the failure of the film, she said that producer and director Sawan Kumar Tak did not shoot what he originally narrated to her. She wasn't keen on the film and hesitated but was called repeatedly by the senior film maker and finally she relented on doing the film. The movie was launched with great fanfare and Amitabh Bachchan gave the mahurat [first take] shot at an event attended by many from the film industry and the media.

As the film was being shot, the entire film was being written - and then re-written. Salman Khan arrived perpetually late for the film - Tak spoke out angrily against Khan in several interviews around the time stating that the actor would often arrive hungover or after partying all night on set and then go to sleep, kept Sridevi waiting for hours on end and was unapologetic about it. To quote Sri, "Salman Khan would come late very often. It can be quite boring sitting when you should be working."

Even for us hardcore Sridevi fans - both films are a bitter pill. Just unwatchable in its entirety - but we've seen the songs on YouTube often as Sridevi looks gorgeous throughout and dances like a dream.
