TBT: English Vinglish press: Before and After: Sridevi's quiet confidence before the release we noted - as a study of how the film industry works, she knew she had a winner at hand. There are several instances if you rifle through the archives, Sridevi knew when a film was about to flop or which would be a huge success. And then there were the random hits that came out of nowhere. When asked if she was nervous before the release of English Vinglish, especially after her long, self-imposed hiatus, she simply said, "No. It's a good film, whatever happens, happens." Now of course, its a jewel in her crown.
