Asha Bhosle sings for Sridevi: The Definitive Listicle: Remembering the legend

Just heard earlier today that the legend Aasha Bhosle passed away in the early hours of the morning, at the age of 92. Strong innings and a legacy long-established, read the news with a sigh - timeless Aasha tai seemed immortal and yet the day has come... 

Instead of mourning her loss, we are celebrating Asha Bhosle's timeless musical contribution. While others can try and encapsulate her Guiness-record-number of recorded songs, we are only looking here at Aasha Bhosle's contribution to Sridevi's films! We are rewinding the cassette tape to listen to this magical combo; the legendary, distinct and iconic voice of Aasha Bhosle and the on-screen song and dance antics of the great Sridevi!   

Ashaji's versatile voice—playful, seductive, cheeky, and emotional—perfectly matched Sridevi's range from bubbly dances to seductive rain songs. A list of Hindi songs (primarily picturised on Sridevi), starting from the early 1980s era onward, in chronological order by film release year.
