Sridevi in Adutha Varisu (1983). The Tamil film version of the fable Anastasia, Sridevi is absolutely incredible in this film. The nomadic gypsy converted to regal heiress, the versatile actress showcases the character arch with such elegance and ease. And looks gorgeous throughout.
A recent discovery for us fans new to the Tamil film chapters of her life, it was a joy to see this immensly entertaining film. Rajinikanth is a perfect match for otherwise peerless Sridevi.
