Krishna and Sridevi in the Telugu film Vajrayudham (1985): One of 31 films they did together!

Krishna and Sridevi in Vajrayudham (1985)
It wasn't Jeetendra nor was it Anil Kapoor. It wasn't Kamal Haasan or even Rajinikanth, but Telugu icon and cine-legend Krishna worked with Sridevi more than any other actor; a whopping 31 films over a decade (well, 1979 to 1988).

We've been working on a listicle for a while now, but Cinema Cinema Cinema already did one here.

From that well-researched, page, here's what stood out to me;

Sridevi is the only actress to act in 3 consecutive movies twice with Krishna in a calendar year;
Gharana Donga, Mama Allulla Sawaal, Adrushtavanthudu and Ram Robert Rahim in 1980
Bangaru Bhoomi, Bangaaru Koduku and Krishnaarjunulu in 1982

Sridevi acted as Krishna’s daughter in Maa Nanna Nirdoshi, his sister in the film Devudu Laanti Manishi, his girlfriend and wife in several films and she acted as his mother in the film Samaajaniki Sawal!

S.R.Das, K.Bapayya and A.Kodanda Rami Reddy made four movies each with Krishna and Sridevi.

Aswini Dutt, Middhe Rama Rao, N.Ramalingeswara Rao, T.Trivikrama Rao are the producers apart from S.P.Venkanna Babu, who produced multiple movies with them

Left: Vajrayudham was dubbed into Hindi as Dil Lagake Dekho and released in the Hindi belt. Trying to cash in on Sridevi's pan-Indian popularity, she dominated the posters of the film.
