Released on 27 November 1987, Himmat aur Mehanat was the last film of the magical Sridevi-Jeetendra combo. As Jeetendra's box-office clout started winding down and hers was on an unstoppable meteoric rise, Sridevi stopped signing films with Jeetendra.
