Sridevi aka Sreedevi, ruled Indian cinema (with awesome performances in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi films) in a career spanning 50 incredible years featuring 266 films. Born in Sivakasi on August 13 1963, her untimely and tragic death on February 24, 2018 left a nation in mourning. In our hearts, she'll forever be, the eternal Queen of Bollywood.

TBT: Sridevi at Stefano Ricci's 45th anniversary
Italian designer Stefano Ricci hosted a glamorous soiree celebrating the 45th anniversary of his eponymous brand and invited the Kapoors to attend. Rumour has it, Ricci (or someone in his team!) was a fan of Sridevi and invited the actress and her family at the elegant affair. As its mostly a menswear and lifestyle brand, we're guessing Boney Kapoor (a notorious fashionista himself, his shoe collection is second to a few, esp his Guccis!) is a patron of the brand too as he wore a suit from the brand at the dinner and gala showing.
Sridevi wore a gorgeous Sabyasachi ensemble (yes, he does more than saris, lehengas and salwaars) and looked like a regal representation of India, along with her eldest stylista daughter, Janhvi Kapoor.
The designer tweeted back in Jan 2017;

Over events in January and February, it was been a flood of one stunning image after another, one incredible outfit after another of Sridevi attending various wedding functions for friends and family. We have sort of lost track of which came first, but between her sartorial selections of saris from Manish Malhotra to Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, Sridevi has been surpassing fashion frontieries with bold and beautiful steps. In a sari, there is no greater picture of pure effortless elegance than Sridevi.
Just wow, every step of the way.
