Born in Sivakasi on August 13 1963, her untimely and tragic death on February 24, 2018 left a nation in mourning. In our hearts, she'll forever be, the eternal Queen of Bollywood.

Lifetime Achievement Award for Sridevi: Telugu cinema honours in 2004
Dr. Akkineni Lifetime Achievement award winner Sridevi with TTD board chairman T. Subarami Reddy, A. Nageshwara Rao, Andhra Pradesh Former Chief Minister N. Janardhana Reddy, Dr. C. Narayana Reddy and AP Education minister N. Rajyalakshmi. Film star Sridevi was recognised for her contribution to cinema.
Veteran Telugu actor Akkineni Nageshwarao was also present at the award function.
