Born in Sivakasi on August 13 1963, her untimely and tragic death on February 24, 2018 left a nation in mourning. In our hearts, she'll forever be, the eternal Queen of Bollywood.

Sridevi on Netflix! Bollywood icons films Mom and Gumrah are streaming on OTT platforms
Sridevi's swansong Mom and her only film with Sunjay Dutt Gumraah are both on Netflix.
In both films, Sridevi's stellar performance helped her garner rave reviews and steady box-office.
In many ways, it took her tragic and untimely passing for the government of India to recognise her vast contribution to Indian cinema, spanning 266 films and in five languages.

Was Sridevi heading to Netflix?
TBT: This image has us pondering, was Sridevi heading to Netflix?!!
Found this on Instagram, Sridevi with Swati Shetty (who was at Netflix back then).
Currently, of Sridevi's 266 film roster (we are not kowtowing to the hyperbolised and factually incorrect figure of 300 films!) only Mom is available on Netflix.
There are a lot of terrible Hindi movies on Netflix (who is making the selection?!) so we are hoping the service doesn't blindly select random films from Sridevi's multi-lingual cinematic CV.
From her roster of Hindi films, we hope to see the following on Netflix some day (in alphabetical order);
Sridevi's personal favourites are listed here (a list published before English Vinglish and Mom) in the feature Jewels in the Crown.
