Some of the rarest images and features, magazine scans and covers, I've often found in Russian fan sites. You have no idea how huge Sridevi was above the northern borders when our most views come from Russia!

Sridevi's Russia trip for the premiere of her film was a playbook in power dressing. Some very clever styling and choices by her stylist Esha Amin Pradhan, a frequent collaborator, it was dressing for the mood, the moment and Moscow! To stand out among a sea of international fans (our fan page's most frequent collabs and corrections come from hardcore fans in Russia - not Tamil Nadu!), Sridevi went for an almost Russian Doll silhoutte and print, looking like the Goddess she was. 

Reflecting on the looks this week as news of designer Rohit Bal's passing hits the net and fashion fan base. 

All the good ones are taken too soon...

For her trip to Moscow, Sridevi wore Rohit Bal for one of the appearances. 

Looking like a Russian doll herself, there was her tradmark imperial look, natural elegance and posture to let 'em know, a Queen is here. 

Not the point of the post today; just woke up to the news that designer Rohit Bal is no more, gone at the age of 63. RIP Rohit Bal.

A Russian fan and interviewee, speaking in Hindi to the Tamil born Telugu girl, also speaking in Hindi, for an interview to air in Russia - dubbed in the country's native tongue. There's so much English Vinglish, Hindi Vindi going on... the mind is blown.

It was Dec 2017, Sridevi was invited to Russia for a film festival. She landed with three imperial looks befitting her royal legacy in Bollywood - and the fandom that worshipped her across the borders. Are we exaggerating here? To Russia with Love

Sridevi's historic trip to Russia. When Hollywood films weren't shown in Russia, Bollywood crossed over and Sri became an icon. When she made an appearance for a film festival, the turnout was worth watching - even Sri seemed surprised but happy that she and her films made such a huge impact across borders.

The reception Sridevi had when she landed in Russia for her film festival was phenomenal. On the Facebook fan page, our maximum number of foreign/western fans are from Russia. She was treated like the Queen she is during her first (and sadly last visit) to Moscow. Fans were genuinely thrilled and Sridevi seemed to be too. Bless.

Sridevi's in the winter wonderland of Russia as she kicked off a Bollywood film festival with her film Mom. Joined by her producer husband Boney Kapoor and youngest daughter Khushi. Her eldest was of course in India filming her first feature, Dhadak.
