Born in Sivakasi on August 13 1963, her untimely and tragic death on February 24, 2018 left a nation in mourning. In our hearts, she'll forever be, the eternal Queen of Bollywood.

In Memoriam at the Oscars: Sridevi
Always knew Sridevi would be at the Oscars one day... never thought it would be at the In Memoriam section at such a young age. RIP Sridevi.

Sridevi at Manish Malhotra's Show at LFW 2015
No shortage of surprises, Sridevi absolutely bowled fans over with her minimalist chic look last night at Manish Malhotra's show at Lakme Fashion Week 2015. The designer, who has worked with the actress since the beginning of his career, will soon do the looks for her upcoming film Puli (due for release later this year).

It was an all-star lineup on the VIP front row of the show as a bevvy of Bollywood beauties, led by Sridevi, sat and applauded the celebrity-designer. With her aura and superstar power undiminished, even the biggest contemporary stars went up to pay their respects to the Queen of Bollywood.
Clad in a blue sari (ah the iconic blue sari - it may be 'the little black dress' in Hollywood, for Bollywood, it'll be a blue chiffon sari surely?!), slim and trim Sri looked ravishing. Be it Neha Dhupia, Huma Qureshi or Sophie Choudry, all fanned out and got a snap with the iconic Indian actress.
