The most comprehensive fan blog dedicated to India's most beautiful and greatest actress of all-time (in our humble opine!), Sridevi. Sridevi aka Sreedevi, ruled Indian cinema (with awesome performances in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi films) in a career spanning 50 incredible years featuring 266 films. Born in Sivakasi on August 13 1963, her untimely and tragic death on February 24, 2018 left a nation in mourning. In our hearts, she'll forever be, the eternal Queen of Bollywood.

Happy Birthday Mithun da: Indian actor turns 72
Today, Mithun Chakraborty turns 72!
Of the four films they did together, three were superhits.
And oddly enough, their best film, their first film together Jaag Utha Insan was the only good one! And their only flop.
Go figure.

Mithun Chakbraborthy and Sridevi in Waqt ki Awaz (1988): Box office Hit

Sridevi with Mithun Chakraborty in the 80s flick, Waqt Ki Awaz.
Er, like the wardrobe, the movie was not good - but then we can say that about several Hindi films from Bollywood in that gauche era. The movie did stellar business at the box-office however (go figure!), as it was the fifth highest grossing film of 1988!
The songs were a chart-buster - and on a side note, tragically, the film featured the swansong of the great Kishore Kumar - who recorded a song for the film a day before his death, with Asha Bhosle. What we mostly remember from that film was however was the song "Pyar Chahiye Kitni Baar" by Sudesh Bhosle and Alisha Chinai (who most memorably sang the iconic Kate nahin kathe for Sridevi in Mr.India).
Here are a series of pics from the sets of that song - Mithun channeling some vintage MJ looks in that all leather ensemble.
