Born on January 17, 1945, writer and lyricist Javed Akthar turned 75 recently. He wrote a handful of movies with Sridevi as leading lady - in particular Roop Ki Rani, Choron Ka Raja.

He was a fan of her work and spoke highly of the actress on several occasions.

Sridevi at Filmfare Awards 2007: Indian actress presents technical awards with director Rakesh Roshan: Interviewed on the red carpet by super fan Malaika Arora

Sridevi arrives for Filmfare awards (2007), accompanied by husband Boney Kapoor.

She looked stunning at the red carpet and told Malaika Arora Khan that she wasn't nervous at all about performing on stage.

While presenting the awards, Sridevi stood on stage with producer/director Rakesh Roshan to give away a few of the technical awards.

When collecting his award, there was a very cute moment when producer/director Vidhu Vinod Chopra bowed and kissed the hand of the former Queen of Bollywood, Sridevi, as he collected a trophy.

On the red carpet, so many stars said Sridevi should return to films - will the Queen comply?

Wait and watch.
