Born in Sivakasi on August 13 1963, her untimely and tragic death on February 24, 2018 left a nation in mourning. In our hearts, she'll forever be, the eternal Queen of Bollywood.

Sridevi's advert for Indian Emporium Saris in the early 1980s: Bollywood model
Back in the '80s, Sridevi was one of the first few leading ladies who signed on with an international company; Indian Emporium was a Hong Kong based sari company.
Long before the current crop of actresses joined the brand bandwagon, Sridevi lead the pack.
