Sridevi with Sunny Deol on the sets of Ram Avtar (1988), from the song Dil de diya. The film was, well, not bad but it wasn't great - Sangam-esque but without the box-office success or musical caliber, or the writing or the... Ya, a poor cousin of the original blockbuster by Bollywood showman Raj Kapoor. Ungli mein anghooti was a huge hit on the charts. Nigode mardon ka is fun to watch 'cause of Sridevi's comic antics... again the premise is like Main Kya Karun Raam Mujhe....
The film was wrought with controversy during its making - including a fight that erupted between Sunny Deol and Anil Kapoor that made tabloid headlines galore... Not sure exactly what happened back then, but the two actors never worked together again.
Sunny Deol also aired out issues he had with Sridevi on a TV chat show. Looks like there was more real drama behind the scenes that what was mounted on screen.
