Sridevi in the Hindi film and Bollywood blockbuster, Army (1996). The movie had its moments but the last half dragged on and on...As most critics pointed out, the beats of the film are very Sholay-esque, but with a female lead making up for two heroes!
Was fantastic to watch Shahrukh Khan and Sridevi interact on screen. The film was Khan's first appearance after the runaway success of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge - and no one was more popular than SRK at the time.

He has mentioned many times in several interviews how much he enjoyed working with Sridevi and learned so much from the legend.
Sridevi said her roster of co-stars would have been incomplete without Shahrukh Khan - and it was so nice of him to sign the film just for her.
