Sridevi and Boney Kapoor at Filmfare Awards 2013: Will she win for English Vinglish? Indian actress stuns in an Alberta Ferrati gown

Sridevi and Boney Kapoor arrived at Filmfare Awards Night red carpet - and Sri knocked it out of the park!

After her Indian avataar less than 24hrs ago for CCL Season 3, Sridevi stuns in an orange Alberta Ferrati gown as she hit the red carpet.

In an off-shoulder  ensemble with diamond accessories and her hair pulled back to frame her divine visage, Sridevi had fashion bloggers stunned yet again.

For a glimmer of Bollywood magic, yesteryear actress Rekha joined the Kapoors for a memorable moment as the flashbulbs went off in a tizzy, trying to capture the two definitive leading divas of Indian cinema.

Update: Sridevi does not pick up any awards for her stellar performance in English Vinglish - fans all a'twitter crying foul in various online portals. Oh well...

Sridevi not being recognised for stellar performances - Sadma, Khuda Gawah, Laadla, Gumrah... - is nothing new...

On the plus side, Gauri Shinde won Best Debut Director at Filmfare last night. On stage she said, "It is a pleasure to receive this award. Sri... this is for you – thanks for doing this film. This award is dedicated to my entire English Vinglish family – without you this award would not have been possible."

Sridevi was undisputedly the showstealer at the Filmfare 2013 red carpet. Slipping into a daring Alberta Ferrati gown, Sridevi looked every inch the fashionista. The 49-year-old strutted her stuff on the red carpet and wowed the crowd. Not to forget her bun hairdo that gave a reminiscence of the old Hollywood charm. Sridevi accessorized the gown with a chic Judith Leiber gift box clutch.

  3. sri is the best and like SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST she has got "padam shri samaaan" she has many film fare awards. she has got the best and achieved everything that one can from a comeback movie like English Vinglish for eg critics have respected her performance, movie has been declared as the best movie, her performance has been massively appreciated by media along with maddening attention. the film has been an international HIT. and now prestigious awards. sri devi is indeed the best and a class above. she is a historic actress. Simply unparallelled. from mansoor ilyas.
