Make Her Laugh: Sridevi's Padma Shri Party

What the joke between husband and wife was, we couldn't really tell, but as soon as Boney Kapoor was given a bhagwaan Balaji shawl, he tried it on, and his wife Sridevi was in splits. 

Iconic Indian actress Sridevi was in the capital on Thursday along with Boney and their daughters - Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor - for an evening where she was felicitated for being awarded the Padma Shri, along with Sharmila Tagore for the Padma Bhushan, and D Ramanaidu, who was felicitated for getting the Dadasaheb Phalke award.

Sridevi was being pulled in all directions because everyone wanted a picture with her, but a lot of women were just walking up to her to talk about English Vinglish."I love that people are so kind to me. Even after all this time, when women walk up to me and say that they could relate to my character from the film, it feels great that we could touch so many lives."

The three of them received the award from President Pranab Mukherjee in the capital yesterday.
