For traditionalists, the Bollywood-ised amrapali is "an abomination" (to quote a critic), the glitter, the shortened length of the outfit, the cut of the blouse, the gauzy chunri, the gaudy razzle dazzle of your average Hindi film... 

For us, Sridevi still looks like a temple Goddess!
