Renowned actors Kamal Haasan and Sarika's youngest daughter Akshara to play Sridevi's daughter in Boney Kapoor/Ravi Udyawar's next? We certainly hope so! Produced by Boney Kapoor, ad filmmaker Ravi Udyawar is on board to direct the upcoming movie that will soon hit the floors. A dramatic tale narrating a rocky relationship between a stepmother and stepdaughter, legendary Indian actress Sridevi (51) will spar on screen with newcomer Akshara Haasan (23).

Akshara, who makes her Bollywood debut with R Balki’s
Shamitabh, was recommended highly by the filmmaker Balki, who produced Sridevi’s comeback film
English Vinglish.
Says a source, “Boney saw portions of
Shamitabh and was convinced that this newcomer would be able to share screen space with his wife.”
Interestingly, the iconic actress Sridevi and Akshara’s father Kamal Haasan have done innumerable films in Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil together. For Bollywood audiences, the two acting icons left audiences spell-bound in the emotionally wrought
