Although Sridevi was conspicuously absent from IIFA 2016 in Madrid this year, Sonakshi Sinha went on to perform a tribute to Sridevi (and from what we've heard so far, done a splendid job).
Not the first time young Sonakshi has spoken as a true fan of the actress. She attended English Vinglish premiere and was all praises for Sri and in the past has done two songs that were remixes/reworks of Sridevi songs.
