Today - July 6 - is the birthday of our fav writer and director, Gauri Shinde. Easily one of our fav people in Bollywood, the gifted writer - if it isn't on paper, it ain't on screen - we can't wait to see what she does next.
Emglish Vinglish is one of the few films that went beyond our expectations. A simple tale told so well, made it profound. It touched so many hearts - we've had international friends and fans comment on how much the movie affected them.
Forget the nonsensical 100 crore club, touch a 100 crore hearts instead. Happy days Ms Shinde!
