Anil Kapoor not so much. Shame. Anil Kapoor did a phenomenal job. He's such a gifted and hardworking actor. And good God he tries. And works. Passionate and enthusiastic about all his films - even when not all pass muster. Its easily his most restrained performance... perhaps at a lower register that didn't find recognition by critics at the time - but later. So many scenes these two there incredible as they were perfect foils for the other.
Lamhe and Silsila were Yash Chopra's favoruite films in her vast portfolio - studded with box office hits and critical success.
So glad that - the awards and all later - the producer didn't lose any money thanks to the international circuit.
