Sridevi's costumes in Khuda Gawah by celebrity Indian designer Neeta Lulla
Note, when Mehendi meets her father for the first time, her outfit is the bridal-lite version of Benazir's white and gold wedding ensemble. A designer who thought ahead about what to project onscreen, there's such subtle but memorable nods to the past; this is very clever design. And of course, Sridevi projected so beautifully.
