Sridevi and Rajinikanth in Tamil hit Johnny (1980)

The scene where Archana proposes to Johnny was shot in Ooty in a bungalow at midnight. When the scene was shot, the whole unit was silent, they saw only the characters of the film, not Rajinikanth and Sridevi. 

After the scene was shot, Rajinikanth appreciated Sridevi's acting and mentioned to film director Mahendran that though he tried, Sridevi overshadowed him in the scene. Sridevi was all of 17 at the time, Rajinkanth had just turned 30! 

Though many like the film Johnny, they LOVE the music which has lived on and on. Johnny had sensational music by maestro Ilaiyaraaja.
