Sridevi in Masterji (1985)

Two years into her stint in Bollywood, she was already ruling the roost - even reviving the flaying career of superstar Rajesh Khanna, giving him the box-office smash Masterji. A film, by all accounts, Sridevi regrets doing, despite its success. Sri received so much flak for the costumes (tame by today's standards) and the double entendre dialogue (most of which she didn't understand - defo didn't write!). 

The thing about attaining such lofty heights, sure you get the credit for the success but also a magnet for all the criticism too.
