Hrithik Roshan turns 50! Sridevi's favourite and his first co-star!

Though he had made cameos in three other films as a very young child, Hrithik Roshan had his first full fledged role in the film Bhagwaan Dada (1986) with the biggest stars of the country; Sridevi and Rajinikanth. 

The signs of superstardom, early sparks of nascent talent were there from the beginning. 

If ever there was an actor who became a superstar overnight, it is indubitably  Hrithik Roshan, who at the turn of the millennium debuted as the definitive leading man in Kaho Na Pyar Hai. Not a particularly great film by any measure, entertaining for sure. Roshan morphed into the absolute paragon of the classic Bollywood hero; he had to be a great dancer, action hero, romantic and have dramatic chops. A showcase of his talents, he got to present it all in the longest show-reel of an actor. Mercifully, he delivered. 

Till date, can't think of a better debut - or the devoted fandom.
