Supriya Pathak: Sridevi was a fan

Supriya Pathak and Sridevi were both working in Hindi films around the same time in the early 1980s, but their career paths were so distinct; one went to the art-house cine route, while, Sridevi was the undisputed queen of commercial Hindi cinema. 

Do note, every 'serious' actor, theatre actor, NFDC  actor has praised Sridevi for being a great performer no matter what role she did. Our huge archive of famous fans have stated that Sridevi's range was beyond anyone else's even in the many silly movies she did (look, we may be fans, but there's no denying the bad movies she was great in!). 

Shy, reticent Sridevi rarely spoke about who she herself was a fan of - one of the few names that crop up, Supriya Pathak from her famed tele comedy.
