Sridevi's cute grin in Himmatwala (1983)

Sridevi's cute grin in Himmatwala (1983).

This sequined yellow sari was a fashion moment in early 80s in Bollywood.

Not sure it would work on anyone... that didn't look like a doll like Sridevi!

Sridevi's first Hindi blockbuster that changed the course of her career.

  1. It's not himmatwala. See the earrings. It's different. It's from Namaste suswagatam song.

    2. Thank you for all your replies. I always wondered while watching Namaste Suswagatam song, she reused the saree in Taki Taki for Himmatwala. However she maintained her "Sridevi Style" in Taki Taki by having a rose pinned near to her right year in Taki Taki just like most of her tamil films.

    3. I spotted an another difference. The nose ring in Taki Taki is studded to her left nose, a typical North Indian style whilst in all her Tamil/Telugu films her nose ring is studded to her right nose, a typical South Indian style.

  2. Yes, in Taki Taki her earings are different. This is a telugu song with Krishna.
