When Mom was releasing back in 2017, some clever PR stuntman simply stated the movie was Sridevi's 300th. And film media and bloggers ran with it! Not one journalist--particularly film journalist--questioned that or bothered to do just a quick Google check to see if its accurate.
Alllll these years later, finally a few film bloggers and fans have reflected on Sridevi's film list and tried to count the released, completed films.
The funniest was Sridevi fans attacking me/this site-- as if accounting for her actual film numbers was a hate crime!
Take a long walk off a short pier!
