Ayesha turns 40 today. A lovely, natural actress who gave it all up for marriage and motherhood, she was very good from the get go - Socha Na Tha, is such an underrated gem. And her performance in Dor is nothing short of phenomenal.
Alas box-office didn't favour her during her last few years in the industry and, after a a series of expensive flops, she left the industry. But no one remembers her flops, when people think of her, they think of what a fine performer she is and one of the most natural, gifted actresses - who should make a comeback in something good.
Hopefully, she'll agree! .
This image from Boney Kapoor produced reality TV show Sur Kshetra, where Sridevi made a surprise appearance. Ayesha is of course a famous fan of Sridevi, who appeared briefly on the show back in 2012 - afterall, the show was produced by her chubby-hubby!
