Today is the birth anniversary of the notable actor, Om Shivpuri, born on 14 July 1938.
He was such a staple in Hindi films for two decades, a character actor of note, who suddenly died aged 52 due to heart complications. He appeared in roughly 175 films, his cine legacy lives on. His daughter appeared in a few films, most notably in the popular song Saawli Saloni.
