Sridevi on the sets of Gurudev with Rishi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. Producer and director Vinod Mehra (who was himself a popular actor) died tragically half way through the making of the film in October 1990. The stars of the movie got together and completed the movie with the aid of Mehra's friend, director Raj Sippy. The movie finally saw the light of day in September 1993.
The songs in the film are gorgeous and Sridevi looks sensational in so many parts of the movie. Rishi Kapoor and Sridevi provide a lot of the humour and fun in the film - but the long delays, different directors, hodgepodge script and editing... the movie ended up a bit of a mess.
Worth watching for the crackling chemistry between Sri and Kapoor. Er.. you decide which one!
