Sridevi aka Sreedevi, ruled Indian cinema (with awesome performances in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi films) in a career spanning 50 incredible years featuring 266 films. Born in Sivakasi on August 13 1963, her untimely and tragic death on February 24, 2018 left a nation in mourning. In our hearts, she'll forever be, the eternal Queen of Bollywood.

ReplyDeleteI remember the premiere of the film itself was star studded. Her frequent co-star and brother-in-law Anil Kapoor and niece Sonam were present too as was Jackie Shroff who she worked with in a few films as well as Amitabh Bachchan. Also in attendance were directors who she had worked with such as Yash Chopra (also Yashji's wife Pamela), Shekhar Kapur and Subhash Ghai. I also remember four years after this, she and Boney attended the wedding of the movie's lead actress Genelia (whose husband Riteish Deshmukh also attended this premiere)
