The pre-publicity for this film was intense. I remember getting postcards of this gorgeous cast in movie magazines and being mesmerised by the gorgeousness of Sridevi.
Sridevi really did have a fondness for wearing white often on and off set - long before Simi Garewal made it her style statement. Wonder why Sri never appeared on Rendezvous with Simi Garewal - would have been a white on white reel!
We reached out to Ms Garewal and she said of course Sridevi was invited on the show several times but Sri was too shy to appear on the chat show. The loss is entirely ours--but as Simi graciously said, "the loss was mine!"
