Sridevi, Sreelatha, Rajeshwari: Superstar's sister, mother, family: Rare pics of a South Indian Icon

There's also Sridevi's step-brother Sateesh/Satish... who we know very little about. But he has been addressed in several interviews in the past by Sri e.g. here and here.

Sridevi's name would be "Sreedevi Ayyappan" on her passport, but in South India, the surname comes first ipso facto her autograph; "A Sreedevi"

In films however, be it in Sadma or Lamhe, when the credits roll, its always spelt Sridevi hence... this website is named after the actress as such.

For the record: Sridevi was born Ayappan Sreedevi. 

Sridevi's only sister, her younger sibling is Sreelatha Sanjay (after marriage, before she was Ayappan Sreelatha).

Sridevi's brother is called Ayappan Satish (NOT Satiyan Yanger - Google is wrong!). 

Sridevi's mother was born Rajeshwari Reddy, when she married her name changed to Ayappan Rajeshwari. 

Sridevi's father was called Ayappan Naidu.

The happiest we've ever seen Sridevi at an event is the wedding reception of her only sister Sreelatha to Sanjay. The all-star and all-politico turnout in Madras was staggering. This was circa 1990 when there was no bigger female superstar in the country than Sridevi.
