Sridevi's Giant's Award.
"...Went to a Giants Day Awards function, at the invitation of World Chairman Nana Chudasama, who has had a major hand in beautifying Bombay among other things. Our Hon'ble C.M. Sharad Pawar kept me company through the ceremonies and also donated 10 lakhs from his fund for family planing operations undertaken by Giants International.
Among the recipients of the awards darlings, was our first lady of the screen Sreedevi who got it for her "talent par excellence." And it was presented to her by that incorrigible and likeable man, Election Commission Chariman T.N.Seshan...."

Giants All: Film actress Sridevi and the Chief Election Commissioner, Mr T.N.Seshan, at the Giant's Day award function at Hotel Oberoi, Bombay, on Sunday. Sridevi bagged the award for films and Mr Seshan was honoured with an award for public administration. - Express.
