Leading up to the opening night of Gumrah, Sridevi and Sanjay Dutt posed for this sensational cover shoot for Stardust's annual 1993 issue. Sridevi looked like a dream, and Sanjay Dutt looked awe-struck by his leading lady.
Shot by, but of course, Rakesh Shreshta [who did the most shoots with both Sridevi and Sanjay Dutt in the 1980s and early 90s], Sri's outfits were done by a young Manish Malhotra, who was still a newcomer in the industry back then.
The styling is very different from norm - the hair, the makeup, the accessories - and yet another gorgeous, glamorous look for the Goddess of Indian cinema, the one, the only Sridevi. One of our all-time favourite cover shoots. Wish there were more pics...
