Aishwarya Rai's Daughter Takes a Backseat to 'English Vinglish'
November 29, 2011

Ever the doting grandparent, Amitabh Bachchan has spent nearly two weeks since Aishwarya Rai's daughter was born in total rapture over the newborn. He's tweeted and blogged endlessly about the joy Beti B has brought to the family while at the same time having a stern hand with those who continue to demand pictures of Aishwarya's baby.
But now the time has come for Amitabh to break away from the little one and head back to work--albeit only for a short time.
The Big B tweeted early this morning that he was in Pune, a city a few hours away from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai. The reason for the trip? Amitabh is filming a cameo for English Vinglish, the film which is serving as a comeback vehicle for the massively adored Sridevi.
It's safe to assume that as much as Amitabh is enjoying his time back on the sets (and who wouldn't enjoy a few days with the delightful Sridevi?) his thoughts are still on Aishwarya Rai's little lady.
Sridevi quit films in the '90s to get married and have children, something which happily Aishwarya Rai will not be doing.
Though she's obviously on a bit of a hiatus after having just given birth, Aishwarya has no intentions of leaving the business to become a full-time mom. Good news for fans and the industry alike!
