Sridevi on the sets of Laadla (1994).
Many are fans of her performance in this (over-the-top-) film, including producer/director Yash Chopra who made it a point to state in MOVIE magazine he loved her turn on screen as a manipulative shrew - especially since Sridevi in person is a painfully shy introvert who rarely has a word - let alone a negative word - to say.
As many have stated, the on-screen and off-screen Sridevi is a 180 degree transformation!
Laadla was a box-office hit for both Sridevi and Anil Kapoor, both actors were credited for their fine performances.
Saddened to hear of the untimely death of the film's director Raj Kanwar in 2012.
